On a Finnish scale, a subcontractor working in the middle of giant factory complexes – e.g. Wärtsilä and ABB – must develop into a high-quality, flexible service package that satisfies its customers’ needs. Indeed, during the years our company has become a subcontractor for demanding projects.
The water jet cutting technique has been used to work challenging materials, all the way from planning up to the reprocessing of elements. Our work has resulted in e.g. outer cladding panels for hotels, interior parts for luxury cruise ships, structural parts for water lifting devices, different flange solutions for diesel engines, insulating plates for transformers, etc.
One of the biggest challenges in our history was the outer cladding of Hotel Scandic Simonkenttä, located in the centre of Helsinki. UltraCut used water to cut hundreds of aluminium panels that now decorate one of the most prominent buildings in Finland’s capital.
